After a disappointing first half, the THS football team came from behind for a 27-20 win against WCA on Friday night.
The score at half-time was 6-0. Quarterback Michael Ahoua told GameTimeCT that the “defensive was shut out to them” in the first half, but a determined mental reset helped to shift the tide. He told Litchfield County Sport’s Tim Gaffney that he was giving “props to the whole offensive line.”
“That second half was all up to them,” Ahoua said.
Kel Camara also spoke to Litchfield County Sports. He said the team came out of the locker room determined and credited the team’s work all year for their ability to dig in and make the win.
Key interceptions by Camara and Alex Bush were just a few of the plays that helped bring the team to victory. Check this article by CT Insider for more details of the game.
