Picture Day for Underclassmen
Picture day for juniors, sophomores, and freshmen will take place on Monday, September 29, 2025, during ELA classes. Photo packets have already been distributed and should be used to place orders.
Senior Portraits
Senior portrait day is scheduled for Friday, September 19, 2025. Seniors must sign up in advance, as time slots are limited. Registration is available through the following link: SignUpGenius.
New Assistant Principal
THS welcomes Ms. Kari Nizzardo as the new Assistant Principal. She joins Torrington from Waterbury, where she served in multiple administrative positions. Ms. Nizzardo will begin her role this week in the 4th-floor office previously held by Mr. Pierresaint.
FAST Academy Interim Leadership
Ms. Torres has stepped into the role of Interim Principal at FAST Academy, a grades 7–12 school of choice within Torrington Public Schools. FAST Academy provides a flexible, relationship-driven environment to support student growth academically, socially, and emotionally. While THS misses Ms. Torres, the community is proud of her work in this interim role. We hope she’ll return to us soon!
Guidance Office Closures
The THS Guidance Office will be closed on Tuesday, September 23rd and Thursday, September 25th
