Alyssa Amato is a senior at Torrington High School and is the Business Manager for the school newspaper. Academics are a big passion for Alyssa; she is a member of National Honor Society and she is the Community Outreach Director of National Science Honor Society. Additionally, she is involved in many clubs including Science Club, HOSA, Criminal Justice Club, and is the Vice President of Interact Club. She has played soccer her whole life through travel and club, and is currently playing her first year on the high school’s girls soccer team. Additionally, she runs long distance on the school's Track and Field team. She loves getting involved with her community and working with others. After high school, she plans to go to college where she will study psychology or forensic science. She loves to learn and hopes to increase her skills as a writer through Journalism. She is eager to build a positive community and contribute to the school newspaper!
