On Friday, February 7, students from THS held the first ever cabaret in the new school building. The students showcased their variety of vocal talents as they filled the evening with music and excitement. At the cabaret they offered snacks and drinks to all that attended the event.
Not only was the turnout of this event impressive, but they also raised over $1,000. “This was our best turnout yet,” said Mrs. Chamberlain, director of the spring show. “It’s amazing to see students take chances, show their talent, and have fun. The Thespian Honor Society works hard to make this fundraiser happen each year.”
For the students that performed that night was both rewarding and thrilling. Reed Freiler, who sang Cecily Smith, states that he “was honored to be a part of the first theater event at the new school. And well we’re sad to leave behind the old theater. Me and the rest of the performers from the night are excited to christen this new era of THS theater!”
