Now that the winter indoor track season has come to an end, it is time to prepare for outdoor track this spring. There is currently off-season conditioning going on for any athletes who are interested in joining in the spring that goes from Monday through Thursday. Juniors Ella Le and Brendan Keskula have provided the schedule below.
Monday – Mid/Long distance | Light run followed by light leg day.
Tuesday – Weight room day open to everyone.
Wednesday – Mid/Long distance | Light run followed by core.
Thursday – Weight room day open to everyone.
Le is pleased with how everything has been going so far, “So far the off season conditioning has been a super positive environment for athletes dedicated to improving their skills and building a strong base for the season.”
According to Keskula, this off-season conditioning is a great way to stay fit and prevent injuries while also strengthening team bonds. So if you are a student interested in joining the outdoor track team this spring, contact Mr. Cahill to get that info.
