Students enrolled in THS Art classes were able to travel to the New Britian Musuem of Art for a tour
On Thursday, 3/6, A select few of about 26 students got to go to the New Britain Museum of American Art. During their time there, students were split into two groups. The first group took a guided tour around the museum, while the second group made collages. They did this for 50 minutes, then swapped. Overall, the field trip was a success; however, many students said they wished they could have had their own time to wander around the museum and look at pieces that interested them, not be forced to listen about pieces they wouldn’t normally get drawn to.
