The Torrington High School community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Haley Foran, a beloved member of the Class of 2025 who passed away last weekend. Haley’s smile and beautiful spirit made a lasting impact on our school and all who knew her. She will be remembered for her friendliness, her compassion, and her earnest desire to help others. Our hearts go out to all of her family and friends.

The THS Senior Student Council will be hosting a sunrise memorial in honor of Haley Foran on 5/16/25. The event is open to all staff and students. Regardless of whether you are present or not, we ask that you remain courteous and respectful of those who are mourning. Haley’s favorite color was yellow, and she was a bright light in our community. In honor of her memory, we invite you to join us in a celebration at around 5:15 a.m. on the morning of May 16th. Feel free to bring blankets or towels to sit on. Please take care of yourselves and each other during this difficult time.
The services for Haley will be on May 9 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home in Torrington, CT. As a school, we will continue to remember Haley and the light she brought to our halls. We encourage students to support one another and reach out if they need help processing this loss.
