If your answer was yes then come on down to the Torrington Armory for Halloween fun!
On Saturday, October 19th, 2024, there will be an event called “Nightmare on South Main Street.”
It is being hosted by the Torrington Parks and Recreation Department. The event is from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
According to Erin Demers with the Torrington Park and Rec, this event is for people of all ages. There will be a haunted house, food vendors, face painting, music, a costume contest, and more!
Fun for the whole family! Tickets are $5 for kids under ten and $10 dollars for people ten and older. Game tickets are $1 each.
This is the second year this event has been held. Demers explained that the event is held at the armory because of the mysteriousness and history it holds. Not many people get to see inside on a regular basis. During the event, people get to walk around and explore the underground of the armory.
It is also held there because of the large gym that can hold large groups for events like this. Demers reported that the event was started because many of the Recreation staff love Halloween and all things haunted.
