We’re back at you with the second edition of How’d the Cookie Crumbl? In this column, the Raider Report gives its expert opinion on Crumbl’s newest cookie lineup. Since this week offered great promise we sampled all seven of the following week’s exclusive flavors: Chocolate Crumb ft. OREO, Lemon Blueberry Cheesecake, Churro Cake, Sea Salt Toffee, Brownie Batter, Strawberry Pretzel Pie and Peanut Butter ft. Snickers
I was joined by three THS students: Elijah Dunlavey, Manav Patel, and Manas Patel. Unfortunately, there will not be a video for this issue.
Chocolate Crumb ft. OREO: Despite past experiences with Crumbl’s oreo collabs this cookie slaps! -and I’m not just talking about taste buds! The cookie contains crumbl’s signature crumble all while catering to the original oreo texture with a thick creamy frosting that provides a perfect balance to the flavorful batter. It’s a fully immersive cookie that arouses all sorts of senses due to its chocolatey smell, its delectable texture, its firm structure, it’s everything.

Lemon Blueberry Cheesecake: This is one of Crumbl’s more unique delectables as it is one of the few editions of their cheesecake collection. Despite cheesecakes being a limited profession by Crumbl, it has a surprisingly delicate consistency combined with its tangy and crumbly crust. It balances the lemon and blueberry in such a way that the tart does not overpower the overall flavor. Let’s just say mama Crumbl knows how to do her cheesecakes as well!
- 9.3/10
Churro Cake: This cake is a derivative from Crumbl’s notorious churro cookie. It is a two layer cake with churro frosting in between as well as caramelized cinnamon sugar cooked between the cake batter. Although it does a good job at imitating the original churro cookie, it has an extremely overpowering amount of sugar that leaves your mouth dry. This is a would-not-recommend-but-is-still-edible cookie.
- 4.3/10
Sea Salt Toffee: Similar to last week’s Mom’s Recipe, this cookie provides a strong strong toffee profile, however, without the oatmeal cookie. The batter itself was a unique mix of chewy, moist, and crumbly. Although the textures were well thought out, it started to lose some of its identity.
- 6.7/10
Brownie Batter: This cookie is a portal straight into childhood. It’s a simple brownie, with no crazy mash ups or twists -its flavor lies in the simplicity. The texture is even and the taste is perfectly reminiscent of those childhood memories of baking brownies. This is an absolute banger by Crumbl!
- 9.0/10
Strawberry Pretzel Pie: This is perhaps one of Crumbl’s most strange combinations, it’s a cold thick, pie-like-batter covered by a light, delicate, frosting topped with strawberry jam and a pretzel. The batter itself contains a unique crumble and pretzel bits, however the refrigerated batter creates a dense texture and does not mix well with the fluffy cream. Though the elements are enjoyable, it seemed as if Mama Crumbl tried to put too many eggs in one basket.
- 6.6/10
Peanut Butter ft. Snickers: Like the Strawberry Pretzel Pie, this cookie offered another odd combination, however this time, it hit all the marks. The cookie has a crumbly base mixed in peanut nuts and is topped by a swirl of snicker’s flavored ice cream, a drizzle of chocolate, and snickers bar bits. Despite snickers being a mid-tier candy this cookie was so perfect that it’s a step away from Jesus.
