We’re back at you with the latest edition of How’d the Cookie Crumbl?. In this column, the Raider Report will give its expert opinion on Crumbl’s latest cookie lineup! This week we tried all six of the week exclusive treats: Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie, Tres Leches Cake. Key Lime Pie Cookie, Chocolate Cake Batter, Wafer ft. Kit-Kat, and Iced Oatmeal.
This week I was joined by four fellow THS students: Elijah Dunlavey, Manav Patel, Manas Patel, and Justin Chau. Again, there will not be a video for this week.
Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie: If you have peanut allergies, I’m sorry but this might just be to die for! This pie is a thin crust filled by a peanut butter pudding and topped with whipped cream, chocolate-peanut butter chunks, and chocolate swirls galore. The presentation looks like something straight from Da Vinchi, unique and delegate. Crumbl never misses with its peanut butter products.

Tres Leches Cake: With the exception of their cakes, Crumbl has been absolutely nailing it with their alternative desserts. This week they brought back their classic version of the tres leches cake. The treat is a moist, creamy cake topped with a light whipped foam. As any good tres leches, the cake is almost milky, and the foam is covered by a nutmeg and cinnamon topping. As always, it’s a great treat!

Key Lime Pie Cookie: Forget about mama Crumbl, let’s talk about professor Crumbl because this is engineered brilliance! Who knew the combination of a pie crust shaped cookie, mixed with a tangy key lime taste, thick zesty frosting, and a lime slice would turn out to be the perfect combination. Despite the “pie” in its name, this treat served as a superior cookie.

Chocolate Cake Batter: About two months ago Crumbl released a phenomenal brownie batter cookie wooing-over the crowd, consequently, expectations for this week’s treat were set to a high bar. The cookie contained a dry crumbly chocolate batter topped with chocolate frosting mixed with confetti bits. Despite expectations the cookie ceased to stand out, but sometimes that’s just how the cookie Crumbls

Wafer ft. Kit-Kat: In the past Crumbl’s collab cookies have been on top, and this is no exception. The cookie possesses a dry cookie draped in a coat of chocolate topped with kit kats. Despite its dry appearance, the cookie hosts a rich chocolate inside while still maintaining the classic cookie Crumbl. It’s like mama Crumbl is beckoning for you to “have a break, have a wafer ft. kit-kat.”
- 8.3/10
Iced Oatmeal: Simple, beautiful, perfection. The Iced Oatmeal Cookie is a classic crumbly oatmeal cookie topped with a complimentary frosting glaze offering a simple yet luxurious bite. Quoting Shakespeare, this cookie is the definition of “more matter, less art.”
