The United States and Israel have continued to bring attacks and strikes upon Iran starting February 28th, leading to mass destruction and many injured or killed.
The attack upon Iran was originally followed after Iran was claimed to continue to seek on owning nuclear weapons despite the 2015 US-Iran nuclear deal. President Trump states “massive and ongoing military operation” was brought out because Iran had “rejected every opportunity to renounce their nuclear ambitions”.
Israel already has some troubling history with Iran before this, as Israel’s prime minister had a distaste towards Iran after the fall of the Syrian regime, and launched a war last summer towards Iran.
Within the process of this, both the U.S. and Israel ended up killing Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran’s supreme leader for four decades. So, what does this mean for Iran and the future condition of all three?
In early March, Iran was still in an escalating conflict with the U.S, and Israel, with president Trump also saying “the attacks will be uninterrupted throughout the week or, as long as necessary” to achieve their objective of “peace throughout the middle east.”
Iran continues attempting to situated themselves and recover amidst the chaos and searches for a new leader.

Jaime Donahue is a junior who has recently gotten into participating in The Raider Report. Jaime is a part of the TOP Club and is trying to get into Student Theater. She is a student who makes sure to be on top of her tasks and not fall behind academically (she’s pretty anxious about that stuff most of the time), and she is seen as very shy and closed off besides socializing with her small friend group, but she is always open to making new friends as it strikes her as a new opportunity, which she loves to find. She originally got into journalism because it sounded interesting and found it to be something new to explore. Outside of school, she spends most of her time working and finishing up school assignments, trying out new things, and creating art.
